Father Rasle was in the Drummers War. The war was also called Grey Locked War and Lovewells Wars. His whole life he was making a Dictionary on the Abnaki langauge. The Indian's failed to kill or capture Father Rasle. The English thought the Jesuits were responsible for the Indain raids on the English. Father Rasle managed to escape the English, but his Dictionary was stolen by the English and they burned it. He felt that his life was useless and pointless.
